In the first quarter of 2009, BCS implemented the rigorous ISO 14001:2002 Environmental Management Requirements as their environmental management standard.

In addition, all of BCS’ services are in full compliance with California's tough environmental standards, including AB 939 Waste Reduction Act and California Code of Reg. Title 22 Section 66273 regarding the handling of CRTs (computer monitors.)

The company is a registered recycler with California’s SB20/50 legislation regulating electronic waste recovery and recycling payments.

BCS is registered with the both the California State EPA office, permit #000320674 D.T.S.C and the Federal EPA, permit #CAR000185413.
